Excel book prepared to design solar thermal, aerothermal energy production facilities, based on the F-CHART method and also includes the generation of the energy efficiency label.
It is composed of 40 sheets, linked together. These sheets allow you to calculate the amount of solar panels needed for a Solar Thermal installation, to know what type of boiler is needed, to make estimates accordingly and to issue the energy efficiency label. Other sheets are complementary, and they are used to carry out the calculations on tables of: solar collectors, latitudes, incident energy on a horizontal surface for province in Spain, calculations to know the necessary surface for an installation, ambient temperature or daily average in Spanish provinces, etc.
The book was made on Excel, thinking that all installers have the MSExcel program on their computers, and that it could be a standard program. Anyway, it was locked to make the user’s manipulation as simple as possible. The program shows/hides the necessary sheets, depending on the type of calculation you want to perform:

Initially, the book was made in 2011, and has been updated and modified, until today.
