A company that plans its annual operating account, month by month, on an Excel sheet, asked us to add to its spreadsheet, macros to print out the tables for each month, separately, so as to facilitate the user’s printing task.
On the same spreadsheet, the operating accounts for each month are created, which include the table for each month (with the budgeted and actual values, plus the deviation) and the accumulated annual (with the difference between the budgeted and actual, calculating the deviation).
In order to print, it is necessary to mark the printing area for each month, so, to facilitate the task, a macro is created that will mark the monthly printing area, avoiding the user to do it. Once the macro is created, a button is added to each monthly table, which will have the corresponding macro associated.
